From School Resource Officer to Storyteller

A Career Built on Connection

For years, my mission has been to protect, serve, and uplift our community's youngest members. Serving as a School Resource and Community Engagement Officer, I had the daily privilege of seeing children navigate the exciting—and sometimes overwhelming—milestones of growing up.

I watched firsthand as kids faced the nervous jitters of starting a new school year, entering a new classroom, or stepping into big new adventures. Those daily interactions, high-fives, and moments of shared courage became the exact inspiration for Happy Buttons.

As I transition from a career in law enforcement to full-time creating, my mission remains exactly the same: to ensure every child feels safe, seen, and empowered to find their own inner bravery.
